Passaic County borders Montclair, so Clifton, Little Falls and Totowa are effectively local work for us. The county splits sharply in two. The southern end around Paterson and Clifton is dense and urban with older housing; the northern end toward West Milford is Highlands, rural and rocky, and a different kind of job entirely.
That split matters when you are pricing. A driveway in Clifton is usually a tight urban replacement with access problems. A driveway in West Milford is often a long rural approach on rock. The same contractor should be able to explain why those two jobs are priced on different logic.
